Behemoth's Attackers

According to Heart of the Tiger, the Behemoth was attacked by Strakhas. Here's their leader giving the order to decloak and attack:

Heart of the Tiger, page 302:

“Stalker Flight, this is Leader,” he said aloud. “Stand by to disengage cloaks and attack on my mark. Three … two … one … mark! Attack! Attack! Attack!” As he spoke, he cut the power to the Strakha's stealth device and brought his shield and weapons power on-line.

And here's Blair's concluding that these are Strakhas:

Heart of the Tiger, page 303:

Cloaked Strakha, then. They had lain in wait while the Terran squadron passed by, striking only now when the mine field cut off their advance and the Behemoth was momentarily uncovered and vulnerable.

There is no mention in Heart of the Tiger of any fighters other than Strakhas attacking Behemoth.

But a year later, in False Colors, we get a complete different story when Tolwyn is reviewing the fighters being recovered from the KIS Karga, as he looks at the lineup of Dralthi IV's…

False Colors, page 179:

Medium fighters, Dralthi Four-class, probably two full squadrons, most crafts in good condition. The bat wing shape of the Dralthi Four was fearsome to behold in combat. Tolwyn could still remember watching in frustration as squadron after squadron of the evil-looking birds had swooped low over the Behemoth during the battle that had destroyed the huge weapons platform. They were slightly weaker than their modern Confederation equivalents, but compared to the Scimitars and Raptors of the Landreich's arsenal, they were a deadly match.

So we now move to playing WC3 to see which book is right; but in WC3 we get yet a third story: Neither Strakhas nor Dralthis… In WC3 the game, Paktahn bombers attack Behemoth; –not only in the game itself, but also in the movie that follows, in which you clearly see Paktahn bombers flying away from the Behemoth's huge explosion.

Solution

At Privateer: Parallel Universe, we have no particular plans to send Burrows to see the Behemoth, but if I were working on some mod that plugs into the Behemoth story, I'd probably consider sending a couple of squadrons of Strakhas, followed by a couple of squadrons of Dralthi IV's, followed by a squadron of Paktahn bombers, and try to make everybody happy… Okay, okay, stop shooting me!
